Absolutely fantastic self contained private cosy one bed flat with private entrance and patio. Down 8 steps to the front door.Basement flat.

Entire studio apartment at the bottom of the building. Basement flat. To access the flat , there are 8 steps down to the front door, from street level. There are 20 steps up , leading from the parking area ,up to the rear of the building and around the house. Basement flat.
Other Things To Note
Private parking in lot behind the house . Up 20 steps to the house from the parking area.

There are many fantastic places to eat and drink around the local area. Whatever you’re looking for, the Bay area has something for everyone. Enjoy a tipple in one of the many bars, or a 3-course meal in some of the best restaurants in the local vicinity.

Emma’s apartment is in a great location, clean and well equipped. The communication from the host was excellent, as was the WiFi and easy access arrangements to the property. The noise from upstairs neighbours walking around does travel down through the ceiling but overall a lovely place to stay. 🙂

Great location and one of the cheaper options in Lancaster. The flat is spacious but the kitchen/eating area is quite dingy.

A good spacious 1 bedroom flat including free parking in an excellent location, walking distance into the city and into the countryside.

A lovely little flat in a great location. Only a 20 minute walk to Cumbria uni and 5 minutes into town. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Decent private parking around the back of the property. Would definitely stay here again.

The basement flat was perfect. I stayed there for about 10 days and it met all my needs well. it has central heating, bath, shower, living room and kitchen. It’s plenty large for one person or a couple and is comfortable. It’s within 10 minutes walk to the city centre and there’s private parking at the back of the house. The kitchen was large enough to cook in, and the bed was comfortable. Everything anyone could want for a short stay in Lancaster. I would like to thank Emma and Gail for their excellent hospitality and quick communication.

A really great basement flat with lots of space in all the room. Large kitchen with everything you need, followed by a fair sized bathroom and great shower. Nice bedroom and lounge with french door to a nice outside space.
If you want somewhere to stay in Lancaster at great value I can’t recommend this enough.

What can I say? Absolutely perfect place to stay. Lovely basement apartment with its own private patio with patio doors going out from the lounge. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need! The property is so close to pubs, restaurants and supermarkets that you have the best of both worlds! The apartment was spotlessly clean with fresh flowers in the lounge! The area is so quiet that you forget how close to town you are. Great access to the mainline train station and a few minutes walk to the bus station. This will be the first place I look for when I’m back in Lancaster!

I had the pleasure of staying in Emma’s flat this week and it was so wonderful. The location is great for the station/city/canal and the flat is so comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated and laid out. I am planning more trips to Lancaster and this will be top of my list of places to stay. Emma was a communicative and kind host – you couldn’t ask for more!
