This is an excellent, spacious first floor flat. It has lift access and a private balcony area that looks out onto Morecambe Bay. The view alone more than makes the stay worthwhile.
The flat itself is fully equipped, with everything you might need for your trip. There’s even a washing machine in the utility room for those longer stays.
There are plenty of shopping and dining options available, just a two minute walk into Bare Village.
Emma and Gail at BayStay are excellent hosts, easy to deal with, accommodating and with a great response time.
I regularly stay in this flat and would definitely recommend it as a Morecambe Bay home from home.
Mike –
Nice older building with great views over Morecambe Bay. Clean, spacious apartment close to local buses and about a 7 minute walk from Bare Lane station. Everything was great.

We had a lovely breakaway. The apartment was just perfect and the view was amazing.
The host was very responsive to any messages we sent before and during our stay.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to relax and sight see if wanted too. we visited Winderemere, Kendal and Lancaster. At Ulverston we went to the Safari Zoo, my partner fed the tiger . The local area of Bare was lovey too and the locals were very friendly, especially in the Dog & Partridge pub the staff were amazing too/food nice also.
100% happy with our holiday

We enjoyed a week here and it felt just like a home from home, the sunsets are amazing from here especially when out on the balcony.
There was lots of little extras in the apartment which really made the stay even better.
Plenty of towels and linen was really clean and fresh.
I made use of the washer whilst there due to it raining and daughter having cream joggers !
We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area but a little out the way of Morecambe.
Morecambe centre was only a half hour walk away or plenty of buses that go by or just 5 minutes in the car.
Thank you for having us, it was a super comfortable stay.
Anne –
The apartment is clean and comfortable, within walking distance to the city center. This is an old building so we hear loudly the travels of the inhabitants above and some details could receive a little refurbishment. However, the value for money is great and the views of the bay are fantastic.
Elaine –
Great value for money, view of the Bay and in the distant Lake District. Accommodation was clean and tidy, hosts are responsive and very helpful.
We stayed here for son’s graduation at Lancaster uni – perfect base – great parking didn’t struggle to find on street parking at all (unlike Lancaster) and only a short drive from M6. Thank you for making our stay memorable
Kim –
What a view to wake up to and go to bed to!
Lovely hosts and easy to find with good parking on the sea front. Used Morcambe as a base, breakfast in town then off to explore the area.
Would def return.
Shamara –
Wonderful apartment with beautiful views of the water.

Jill –
We arrived at such a cosy, clean and comfortable flat that we felt had been carefully prepared just for us!! The views are just as fabulous as the pictures show – even in gloomy weather. To be able to sit and watch the birds as the tide comes in from such a warm and comfortable “birdhide” is just fantastic. Weather not wonderful, but everything else was.
Carol –
Perfect stay for my friends. They absolutely loved it. See you in the summer. Amazing views and very clean.

Stayed at Emma’s flat over the New Year period. When booking it was the views which sold us, superb over Morecambe Bay. The flat is very clean and tidy, still had a festive feel about it with a Christmas tree and lights on the balcony. Bare is a nice area with a few bars and a very nice bistro. Short walk along the promenade and your in the town centre. We also used the flat for a trip into The Lakes. We aim to go back sometime, hopefully in the summer.
