Other Things To Note
There is no designated parking. It is street parking so a little bit hit and miss. There are 3 flights of stairs to access the apartment. Not ideal for children, elderly or guests with mobility issues.

There are many fantastic places to eat and drink around the local area. Whatever you’re looking for, the Bay area has something for everyone. Enjoy a tipple in one of the many bars, or a 3-course meal in some of the best restaurants in the local vicinity.

Our family really enjoyed three nights here. The nicely decorated flat has a wonderful bay view. Our sons went cockle picking for fun right in front of the bay promenade, and loved this! When the tide was lowest on a morning we could walk very far on the sea land (be careful since you always need to check tide times), which is an adventureous memory! We also swam a bit on a sunny afternoon. From here it’s just 5 mins drive to the town centre with lots of good ice cream shops. Also around 10mins drive to other interesting places nearby including the stone graves of over 1000 years old at St Peter’s Church. The next day we also drove about an hour to Windermere, the most famous lake in the Lake District. On the way there, hiking in Kentmere was very nice too. Very good location to recommend.

Fantastic views in a lovely flat, we couldn’t have asked for more! Had all amenities we needed and was an easy walk to the town

We stayed here 3 nights and it was a lovely experience.
The photos dont really do the place enough justice, the views were spectacular.
The hosts were very helpful and when we mentioned the purpose for the stay was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and anniversary card left on the table which made it feel extra special.
We enjoyed visiting Windermere Lake district and going on a cruise.
We also enjoyed seeing Beatrix Potter world too.
Parking was usually full outside the property itself but we always managed to find somewhere not too far away so it wasnt a problem.
Bay stay is a fantastic base to get to Blackpool or the Lake district too aswell as Morcambe itself which has lots of places to eat out.
Apart from the wet weather we experienced at times our overall visit was great and we would highly recommend this Baystay flat in Heysham,you will not be disappointed.

This is a great apartment. The view is amazing. The beach is right outside. It was so comfortable spacious and clean.
